We are excited to announce that construction on your new brewery has begun!  After a year of planning, we can’t tell you how fulfilling it is to see that first shovel of dirt over-turned.

"I love it when a plan comes together."

John "Hannibal" Smith - The A-Team

Demolition began in August and there has been little time to catch our breath since.  Thanks to all the talented people surrounding us, we plan on finishing construction by the end of November.  After that, we’ll install the brewhouse and be brewing our maiden beer by the end of the year.  Can you say, “Best Christmas present ever?!”

There’s plenty of surprises to announce before then so follow us on Facebook to keep up to date.  Until then, enjoy these photos of our journey so far.  Cheers!

Tie & Timber Beer Co. as rendered by our rock star architects, Arkifex Studios

The brewery will comprise about 50% of the building footprint allowing for a sizable tasting room and patio.

A large wrap around patio will be accessible by two garage doors opening the entire corner of the tasting room to the gorgeous southwest Missouri Spring & Autumn seasons.

Wishing we had a beer on the new patio.  Left to Right: Jen (co-founder and head brewer), Cade (general contractor), Michael (architect)

Belly up to our “L-Shaped” bar and have your choice of 20 draft selections, including beer, cider, and homemade soda.

This building was originally a tanning salon.  I wonder how many naked bodies these walls have seen?

Plumbing: A well drained brewery makes for a very happy brewer.

Our 10 barrel brewhouse will consist of a kettle and mash\lauter tun. Once the wort is produced, we’ll turn the yeast loose in one of our 5 fermentation vessels. The beer will then be conditioned in our brite tank before finally making it into your glass.

Left to Right: Our general contractor, Cade, and Curtis, co-founder and tail-brewer. Cade has been kicking ass and taking names throughout this entire project.

The handsome, burley fellow in the middle is Sawyer. He can lift a lot of very heavy things. His future will see free beer coming his way.

Enjoying our first beer in the brewery:  This is Victor and Briana, our dear friends whose money will never be good at T&T. Not only did they generously open their home to us as we made the transition from Colorado to Springfield, but they are also really funny & crazy people. They have critiqued every T&T test beer. So, if you don’t like our brew, you can blame them.

Well, what do you think of your new brewery?  We would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions.  Please feel free to leave a comment below.  Cheers!
